It's just a very tough day for everybody.
I think you'd be hard-pressed to find somebody
a single head in Ireland that doesn't have a Glen story, of course.
But yes, I was lucky enough to know him for most of my life.
And it's a big loss, a big, big loss.
So I was very lucky.
My life has always been intertwined with the wonderful Marina Guinness.
And
Glen's life was also touched by Marina and she's been an incredible source of support for many Irish artists and I'll be talking for a few seconds.
I was introduced to Glen by Marina.
I was growing up in Marina's house and Glen and the Frames were setting up their studio on one end of the house and Keila
were set up their studio at the other end.
And that was really my introduction to music.
Yeah, like Glenn was just the kindest man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
He always had time for absolutely anyone.
He said it himself, that Irish people would come up to him and just start mid-conversation, but he'd continue it.
He'd never cut you off.
He always had time for you.
And when I was an annoying teenager trying to figure out how to play a song on guitar, he'd sit down and strum it through when he had far better things to be doing.
