And the guy that owned it just let him at it, you know, and he had it then, you know, he was just such a bubbly young lad, you know.
And then I was in the music business when he was with the Frames, and I went touring with them early on in their career.
You know, back and forth from the UK, Ireland, around Ireland, around the UK, you know.
And we used to, you know, when we were coming back, you know, there was a bit of a beach there just off Conway, just in Wales.
And then you saw, we said, come on, we'll go down to Conway for a five-a-side to break the drive, you know.
And, you know, but he was just, I was just saying to the researcher the last time I was here, and I just delighted I had that memory of him.
Because the last time I seen Glenn was on Grafton Street.
And he came over and he, well, actually, he was standing behind a busker who was singing once.
And Glenn tipped him on the shoulder and just took over.
And it was such a beautiful moment.
And there was nobody there.
You know what I mean?
It was six, seven people because I just went, wow.
I didn't recognize him because I hadn't seen him for a while and he had a beard on him.
So I was just standing there listening to the bus guy and he was really good.
And then I got a tip and I still didn't recognize it was Glenn until he opened his voice and then obviously Glenn.
And he came over, I was just saying to your researcher, when he seen me, he came over and he gave me a big hug and he said, Frank, I'll never forget the time you gave us a gig down the Point Depot.
The Point Depot, that's how long it is.
And it just opened.
