Carlton has announced their coach search panel.

And it is interesting because it isn't really a panel.

It's largely just the club power breakers.

So the president, Rob Priestley, the CEO, Graham Wright, the football boss, Chris Davies,

and the leadership consultant in Adam Simpson is the four-man panel, and that's who will try and find their next coach.

Now, that's a little bit different because in the past, we've seen sort of Joe Watson used at Melbourne, Frank Panisi, who's the highly respected footy boss at Melbourne Storm.

Of course, what do you think about Carlton largely going about this search alone?

Just flip a coin, you reckon?

My information with the people they have had discussions with is that they are looking more so at the untried younger model, more so than the Adam Simpson, John Longmire...

They essentially want someone to grow and develop with this list, knowing that they are a while away.

They've got work to do at the Carlton Football Club.

They're not going to be an instant hit, are they?

And they're going to need some major rewiring in terms of their game style, because they've been playing a certain way with their contested brand.
