We can't help but overreact to these things sometimes.

It's so hard to make judgments on what teams are gonna look like after the transfer window is closed.

So many things could happen in these final two weeks or whatever it is.

And it was always going to take time for new signings to integrate and settle in, et cetera.

So there is also an element of yes, there are some very obvious fixes, but don't panic too much because you could almost make things worse.

question is Mamadou Zangara.

Obviously.

It's the only answer.

It was an exceptional performance.

And I know we're gonna come on to um Spurs Brentford in in a minute, so I'll talk about him in a little more depth there.

But one thing which stood out to me, which people won't appreciate, is that Brentford's record signings over the last couple of years have not always hit the ground running.

Igor Tiago was injured for most of his debut season with a knee issue.

Mikkel Damsgar barely played his first couple of years.

No one knew where to play him and now he's emerged as a left back three, four years further down the line.

So when I saw they'd signed Sangari, I thought, okay, yeah, he seems good, but you know, it probably won't be till next season where he's actually flying.

Flying.

And f even before he set up that opening goal, he was just absolutely running the midfield and I thought, wow, what a signing.

And then by the end of the day, I think everybody was talking about him.

Yeah, so I spoke to a few um Brentford players after the game, including Keen Lewis Potter and also head coach Keith Andrews and they all said how humble he was.
