And I think part of what Spurs have done is they're anticipating Romero leaving and they're just trying to get that all sorted.
So Van Hecker is very clearly probably going to be the first choice right-sided centre-back on the deserving next season.
And that basically means that Romero can go.
They've signed Robertson and Doggy's had a lot of injuries at left-back.
So that just covers them on that side.
And then I think Sanessi is a very clever market opportunity.

when he's fully focused.
He is a fantastic footballer with a really high potential, but he's had his difficulties over the last year.
Maybe in the future he'll leave.
So sort of getting Senecian means that there's competition for Van de Ven, but it also means a potential long-term replacement.
And then with all the other midfielders that they're looking at, forwards they're looking at, Savinho, Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, it'd be very interesting to see what they get over the line.
Fair play for Spurs for reacting to what happened last season and going,
We need to be ambitious in this transfer market.
