The only difference is language.
And conception of time, you know what I mean?
Like the emotions are the same.
Like, dude, it's all the same outside of language and like our cognitive ability.
Like it's all the same.
Bro, the hard part is there's not a single thing that I do to a dog that I wouldn't do to a kid.
Given the idea, like if I had a kid, if I was charged with raising a kid who for some reason could not process language,
at all like could not process language and there's nothing there's just nothing i can do about it like people then go sign language you're like yeah but dogs can't learn fucking sign language like if i couldn't if we could only communicate through associative learning and not language and i don't want my kid to be burned by the stove i gotta i gotta set i gotta give the kid a reason not to touch the stove yes now that doesn't mean i'm gonna soccer kick him or fucking
Yeah.
I'm good at analogies and shit, right?
To help teach people, right?
So what I say...
is like there's three ways to change behavior basically, right?
Like there's change how they feel, give them something else to do, tell them not to do that, right?
It's super simple.
Each of those are its own super nuanced, complicated art form.
This is the totality of punishment.
This is the totality of differential reinforcement.
This is all of classical conditioning.
I'm not saying it's easy, but it's like the concept when I'm talking to clients.
