I'm not socially, I'm not socially malleable at all.

And he talked me into, I'm not an easy to talk into guy.

He talked me into stuff with my dog that I, I now I'm so ashamed.

I did it.

I can't even breathe when I think about it.

But he like, like the doctor said, you have to amputate.

And I'm like, fuck.

Okay.

I guess this is what, and I don't want to kill her.

So like, I guess this is what it is.

And I just, it just didn't sit right.

And I lasted a couple of months and then it was just like, I can't, this, this can't be the answer either.

And I don't know what the hell is going on, dude.

You know?

And I found, I talked to Tyler Muto who introduced me to Chad Matkin.

And I started talking to him and Chad was, Chad was this guy that was like,

our work looks different like once once rubber hits the road we look different when we actually put hands on dogs we make different choices but his in his philosophy like the way he looks at dogs and like the lens that he sees them through and like he was like they're autonomous fully rich emotional creatures you have to treat them with respect yes we have to tell them no but we also have to be kind and you know i was like there you go somebody somebody that makes sense holy shit somebody's finally making sense

Okay, cool.

So then I started training with him.

And we did, we started doing a podcast together where I was just like the sidekick.
