You know, this has been a really cool few months for me.
It's been 40 years since I've really been back here for any length of time.
And just to reconnect with so many Hawks and see so many teammates and coaches that I played with and went through some really special times in my life with, it's just really special for me.
Yeah, I mean, I just take a lot of pride in being a football man.
You know, I've had a lot of amazing experiences.
You know, culminating as a head coach.
I've been a coordinator at many schools.
I've called plays for about the last 12 years.
And, no, I've been in charge of a lot of things in the last 40 years.
But coached running backs, coached quarterbacks, coached wide receivers, coached tight ends.
Been a special teams coordinator.
And so and as a head coach, you have to be an expert at everything that your team does.
And so I've hired a lot of coaches, interviewed a lot of coaches over the years.
And so I'm just I feel very comfortable coaching the running backs.
Kirk came to me and and asked me if I'd like to do it.
And I said, absolutely.
And we got great kids.
And it's just tremendous feeling being in a great program with a great head coach that has a vision and great assistants and really, really good players.
And so I feel very fortunate.
Yeah, it's an interesting group.
