Yeah, I don't want our listeners to think that we have nothing but bad things to say about this book because it does have quite a lot to appreciate. matched

It's just, like I said, inefficient. matched

So I think we should talk about some of the things that we do like. matched

And I think what you just alluded to, the part where we meet Judy Marshall for the first time in the, is it an asylum? matched

Yeah, the lobby of this building is, it seems like a modern hospital with nice decor and a clean atmosphere. matched

And by the time that Jack and Fred Marshall get to where Judy is, it's like they've gone back in time to like Arkham. matched

Oh, yeah, matched

But it does make it interesting. matched

And that makes it, for me, fun. matched

We are on this journey through the hospital and it's like a descent into hell. matched

And even though the place where it's described is like this one vast room with beds lining the walls and only one set of small windows high up near the ceiling. matched

It sounds like the description of an orphanage from the late 1800s or something like that. matched

I know they're going for an atmosphere, an effect here, but it was fun. matched

It was great. matched

And meeting Judy, we've met Judy already in the book and we spent some time with her alone, but meeting her through Jack and basically experiencing Jack meeting Judy was a really magical part of the story. matched

And it's supposed to be. matched

But it's what tips that final domino over for Jack when he's already started to remember and accept his previous experiences with the territories. matched

But this is what takes him all the way there. matched

And it takes me all the way to like being ready for like matched

yeah, this is going to be cool. matched
