I mean, this isn't really any more hard to pick up on than the other world itself, but we get a description of the talisman, Jack's goal in his quest, and Speedy describes it as not too big, not too small.

She looked just like a crystal ball.

So if this talisman is a crystal ball that is about the size of, say, a grapefruit that could fit in your hand, it's got to be one of the wizard's rainbow, right?

I think that that's a great guess.

And if that's the case, well, that's certainly a thinnie.

And it's one of the orbs, just like the one that is in Wizarding Glass.

That takes over Roland's mind and implants in his head his goal of the tower itself.

So this can't be a coincidence.

Is it time to talk about some yucking it ups?

I was really only grossed out by the detailed description of the flip juice, the flip liquor that Speedy gives to Jack.

And it is described as tasting like

A dreadful mockery of all the wines that Jack had drunk before, the taste was high and sweet and rotten.

The taste of dead grapes that had not lived well.

As his mouth flooded with that horrible sweet purple taste, he could actually see those grapes.

Dull, dusty, obese and nasty, crawling up a dirty stucco wall in a thick syrupy sunlight that was silent except for the stupid buzz of many flies.

That description is kind of beautiful in its disgustingness.

Yeah.
