The last fun stuff item I wanted to call out was that at one point, Jack is thinking about how death has driven all the way up I-95 from New York, following his mother and him, chasing his mother down, basically.
And death is squinting out through cigarette smoke and asking him to find some bop on the car radio.
And this line really reminded me of death driving a car up 95 of the road virus heads north.
