And a few of the guys mentioned that today, like DeMarco Jackson, you know, he's like, there was maybe like six people on the Ram sideline that you could hear.
But other than that, it was just this hush and this stunned hush and this sad hush.
And so that like, it just struck me because like in the moment you were like, this is wild.
really wild, and to hear the players sort of echo a similar sentiment, I'm like, man, that's just what endings feel like sometimes in this league.
in the process.
And so when Ben continually repeats, like, you can't easily just put that on a Xerox machine and photocopy it for next season.
hurt them last night is realizing that they they had this opportunity this season and now that opportunity is gone in the snap of the fingers it's just gone right and so now you you have to do so much work and you have to put in so much effort and so much concentration and there's so much endurance required just to get back
to the divisional round next year.
It's rushed after those night games and you're trying to process it all in real time.
I do think there's a level of pride in this locker room today at what they accomplished and what they believe carries forward.
And I think some of the resilience and the grit these guys in this locker room believe that that's who they are and that's going to carry them forward into 2026.
And they'll see...
where that can take them.
I think there's a sense that look like we have the head coach.
But they feel like some of the most meaningful stuff is locked in right now, which is a good feeling to have.
You know, now it doesn't guarantee anything.
And there's been
so many players last night and today that have been very honest about the reality of the NFL.
There's nothing guaranteed in this league, but at least you can put your head on the pillow tonight understanding that some of those core things that you really believe in that can lead to high-level success are in place.
