As he said, when he came out as gay, he just literally wrote about people wanting to be themselves.
And he definitely influenced people off the floor and on the floor.
He said he wanted to be remembered as a player who sacrificed for his teammates.
who went to a lot of Jason Collins games.
Saw him in the NBA finals.
I said, what do you think of Jason Collins as a player?
Oh, he was a great backup.
He did all of the little stuff.
And so it's exactly that.
He sacrificed himself as a basketball player as well.
Yeah, I mean, this is a guy, like, to Trey's point, too.
Jason Collins averaged, like, three and a half points per game, three and a half rebounds per game.
But he was instrumental in helping the Nets reach a couple finals and then obviously trying to use his big frame and those fouls against Shaq.
And, you know, that's not an easy task.
But he had, like, his best season was, I guess, 0-4, 0-5 when the stats went up a little bit.
But, yeah, he was out there to rebound, set picks.
Obviously, a man in the middle used those six fouls.
