I do always say, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter to your NBA legacy or Hall of Fame credentials or whatever.

whether you were like a first or second team, all defensive guy, and I've extended that to even say in all NBA selections, I don't think it really matters.

Like, it's going to just say you were an all NBA guy, blah, blah, this many years, right?

We don't really... There's not a lot of deep diving into like, yeah, he made seven all NBA teams, but he only made one all NBA first team.

We just don't do it.

I'm not saying it's right.

I'm just saying we don't do it.

So...

The key number is totality, the number of how many all-NBA selections, be it first, second, or third team.

Same thing with all defense is my point here.
