And I hear that so often from them that

I just want it to be over.

I just want to graduate.

And then they've got the pressure of

Well, I've gotta go on to the next stage, which potentially is college.

It's a lot and it what I see in those students is their self esteem.

Is really, really harmed.

by this whole process, and there's so much they have to offer.

You know, and I try to really reassure them and help them understand their brains and help them see that school is not

the ideal place for them to show their awesomeness.

It's it's really not.

But there will be a place and they just have to

You know, almost I say you kind of have to survive this piece to get to the next place where you can show all your awesomeness off.

And I I really feel like they need to hear that a lot to be reassured, this is you know, I can do this and I've got something to offer.

And

the education system they're in sometimes just doesn't allow that to happen or makes it very challenging.

Yeah, so I and again I think this is a thing that's really helpful for parents to realize and for students to understand.

Um, you know, the kind of the intricacies of the adolescent brain.
