It's while I gave up the Homer, but you know, we went, you know, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and and held them down.
We had two scoreless, you know, uh extra innings.
And we just couldn't push a push a run across.
I actually thought there was a lot of real positives from the bullpen.
They do really well last night and kept us in that game and we we just we didn't push a run across and so obviously, you know, we had a bad twelfth inning last night, but the rest of that was was em encouraging and
you know, you hope that we can um, you know, continue to throw like that and you know, we you know, we need to come up with with hits and obviously our offense has been has been really good all year.
Last night we we sort of struggled with
guys in scoring position and didn't get those hits.
But uh there were a lot of encouraging things last night and I think there were encouraging things um
You know, in Cincinnati over the weekend as well.
He's been great out year.
I mean he he controls his own from from both sides.
He plays good defense wherever you put him.
You can run the bases.
He's a good player and I and I do think, you know, listen, injuries happen and obviously we hope to get Alex back, but that's just part of the game.
And, you know, I think we've got really good depth on that side with with Pedro and Matt Shaw that can that can fill in.
So um you never want to see a guy like Alex go down, but it it also is, you know, encouraging that we have a good player like Pedro that we can slide into the lineup and he's had a really good rookie year.
No, he'll throw that later.
Um and we'll we'll see how that goes and and and make those decisions.
I mean it's a hard thing, right?
