Um both because you know the war has never been popular.

Um and certainly like you know, um the uh Bismarck once said, you know, one German soldier is not w uh uh the Balkans are not worth the price of one German soldier.

And I would say the Iran war is not worth the price of one burrito.

Uh you know, like it is not a sacrifice um uh that anyone really sh should make.

And it's especially appalling to hear an argument uh on behalf of sacrifice coming from multi millionaires.

Yeah.

So um in twenty twenty one Jared Kushner and uh his wife um uh Ivanka Trump um went to on a Mediterranean cruise on a yacht, as one does, uh and uh they were taken uh uh uh to these islands off of Al Albania um and a a very nice p peninsula and they fell in love with it, uh posted pictures on Instagram, uh and decided to team up

Up as one does with uh Qatari uh billionaire friends uh to build hotel resorts.

Um and uh this has become a really controversial issue.

Um and the reason I wanted to highlight it is actually shows that people can actually protest uh Trumpian corruption um in Albania, if not the United States.

Uh, because the people uh the the locals in that area were very upset because uh land had been purchased.

Um, but the person who claimed

That they own the land is a figure that the Wall Street Journal describes as a suspected uh gangster.

Um, he had actually fled Albania in a gunfight in 2021, uh, and uh, but he still has a lot of interest there.

And um basically um he had claimed that he owned this land based on Turkish land deeds, and an Albanian court had found that these were all forged documents where his name had been written in.

Uh and

And that the actual villagers in the village um um have that land.

And the that's still being disputed.

Now he claims that he has land deeds from the period of Italian fascist control of Albania, uh which I'm sure are very legitimate.
