Uh now scientists in a sort of singular.

So he couldn't even have like a plausible name.

And then he was encouraged uh by the Collins campaign to say like, you know, you gotta make it look like you're legitimate c thing.

Like can you also give money to some like women engineers?

And the the CEO said did so, but he said, you know, uh this is just a a pack of bitches getting money.

So so really like

incredibly sleazy character uh who was like incredibly tight with Susan Collins.

Um so yeah, I it it n um one would think that this this would be causing her problems.

I I will say though, it's breaking out in the local media in Maine.

I've talked to people who are in Maine.

And it is actually, I think, the greatness of ProPublica, because they're it's a non profit, but they do the reporting.

They're very good and trusted.

And so the local like it's all apparently all over like Maine radio, uh uh local newspapers.

So I actually think that you know the fact that like the Washington Post might not give it the attention it deserves, I don't think is a s significant.

significant as a fact that this actually re uh I think it it can break through in Maine.

Yeah, no, no, I I first of all I I should mention uh Rebecca's like a terrific reporter, uh and as you said, like really on the ground in Maine.

Um so so uh Jackson himself, like like he ran as a replacement to Platner after that fiasco.

Um and he I think was successful because there was a like a new primary, uh because he was running the um uh a very different uh personality, but the same basic message of populism.

He's like, yeah, working class uh uh candidate, uh friendly towards Bernie, wants to talk about Medicare for all.

Um and but suddenly uh you know the campaign needs money.
