If you don't find that consistent thing where you're not thinking about it all the time, you're not going to be the best version offensively of yourself.
Now all of a sudden you can tell.
Like, there's no fault into it's just I want to have a consistent where my foot lands, right?
It's not too short.
It's not too long.
Allows me to have my hands inside the baseball.
Allows me to have barrel drag, which for me, since he's been a Blue Jay, he's never had.
Now, all of a sudden, that's the reason why he's hitting 290 against the fastball.
He's hitting 263 against the breaking ball.
He's hitting 250 against the off-speed pitch.
It's because of the foundation.
All of a sudden, he no thank you about it no more.
Now it's just go up, try to have as much barrel drag as you possibly can to keep the barrel in the zone as long as you can to get to a bigger finish as you can.
All of those things add up, and now it's just get a strike.
It doesn't have to be a perfect pitch, just a strike, right, which will allow you to have all those good stats.
He's starting to hammer the heater, which is a big deal, and getting his 100 double is pretty cool for a guy who went through what he went through last year.
And the other guy for me is Louie Varland.
Boy, I tell you what.
You know, ever since they traded for him and he came over to the Blue Jays, I don't know how many times I sat with you at the field and said, why are they taking big daddy hacks at 99?
