I think it buys, I mean, just given reaction.
You're sitting in the press box after that happened, about an hour or so after that happened, and I looked down, and there's Bob Nutting signing autographs.
Yeah, I mean, and he was there for minutes, and the only thing that stopped it from happening was the fact they needed to get the game started, and he needed to get out of the area he was in.
But people were flocking down,
to talk to Bob Nutting, and not in a sell the team, you stink, but in a this is awesome, I love this signing, you brought in free age.
Like, hey, you did what you're supposed to do.
You spent some money.
You improved the team.
As for Conor directly, I mean, I didn't know I would ever see the day.
I mean, the Pirates have to take some chances.
But that's a hell of a commitment for a guy that had played a couple of β well, I think they had the deal before he came up.
But for a guy who had never at the time that they pretty much pounded out the deal and never played in the majors.
And I don't know if it's as much on the Pirates side as it would be on Skeen's side.
I think they felt pretty confident about what he could do, and let's see what he can make.
He's not going to shut himself off.
And he's represented by Boris.
That's a different animal than Excel Sports.
