As for Conor directly, I mean, I didn't know I would ever see the day.
I mean, the Pirates have to take some chances.
But that's a hell of a commitment for a guy that had played a couple of, you know, well, I think they had the deal before he came up.
But for a guy who had never at the time that they pretty much pounded out the deal and never played in the majors.
And I don't know if it's as much on the Pirates' side as it would be on Skeen's side.
I think they felt pretty confident about what he could do, and let's see what he can make.
He's not going to shut himself off.
And he's represented by Boris.
That's a different animal than Excel Sports.
And the reason I say that with Boris is if you seek out Boris as your representative, then you're telling teams, I'm not going to sign.
I'm looking for huge money if you sign with Boris.
Everybody wants an agent that's going to make them money.
But, I mean, Boris comes with a reputation.
So if Connor Griffin would have sought out Scott Boris, we would not see him sign a nine-year, $140 million deal.
I want to see Penn's Flyers.
I'm rooting for the story.
