Maybe he can solidify third, but I would like to see another bat there.
And obviously, you know, Ozuna's working against them in two ways.
One, he's not hitting primarily.
Two, he's taking an opportunity from somebody else because there's nowhere else to play him.
Yeah, and I mean, maybe what's best for Hunter is to go down to AAA and just roll through some starts.
I mean, maybe that is what would end up being best.
There's still a couple of free agents hanging out there that you could roll the dice on, a couple of veterans, I mean, guys that still haven't been signed.
But I also say this.
If you're in July and you're in the race and that's still an issue, like, this is the year.
If Tamar Johnson goes because you're getting a pitcher to win now, do it.
That's why most teams have prospects is to trade them for players when they're ready to make a move.
And he had a decent year last year.
I mean, he came out of high school, so he's still a young guy that's figuring it out.
And I do think there is a major league career in Tamar Johnson.
But if somebody wants that, even for a short-term pitcher, I very much consider that.
John Smoltz is a Hall of Famer, but when Detroit traded him for Doyle Alexander, Doyle Alexander helped them win a World Series.
So you can look at it and say, wow, they could have had 15 years of John Smoltz, or they could have a World Series.
Give me the World Series.
I think the failure of Neil Huntington was in those three playoff years.
Then in 16 beyond, he thought they could win every year.
