One, don't compare yourself to other actors because it always ends up crappy.

And also, you never know what's happening beyond the deadline article.

And two, the other thing would be even if you're not getting paid or...

getting awards, your art is just as valuable as anyone else's.

Because I think for so often I felt like, oh, I wasn't a good actor because I wasn't full-time.

And I think that's kind of bullshit.

I have heard him talk about that.

And, you know, he also had to get sober and stuff like that.

And I think I could have handled it fine.

I'm pretty boring.

Right.

So when I got the role, when I read the pilot, I was so shocked because he talks about being involved in the church and he talks about...

being obsessed with Bridget and about being like not very popular in high school.

And I just kept thinking like, oh, this is just like me because I grew up in the church and I was obsessed with actual Bridget.

And I remember I took this class from Marcy Phillips, who's the casting for ABC.
