And so it brought me down there, became red hot as a heel, but I can remember showing up for one of the big shows and there sets the six sided ring.
And this is where timing in our industry, it sounds so cliche, but timing's everything.
I was down there and I knew that we were in a transition period that about to go to Orlando, just all the different moving parts.
And again, the MMA world,
we're now 20 plus years into, if you go back to those days where MMA sat, it was red hot.
really hot and really coming on the scene.
And so the octagon was this cool-looking vibe, and these warriors get in there and battle it out.
And then I just looked at the six-sided ring and said, okay, this is going to differentiate us from the WWE.
It's going to differentiate us from every other promotion, certainly WCW back in the day.
It's going to be different.
And so when I looked at that from that perspective, I immediately knew I'm taking this back home.
We were talking about Darkseid.
There's so many things left out.

And I'll tell you, this is a for instance.

18 hours of being interviewed for dark side wow i think karen did seven six or seven that's a lot i mean so when you have that man all the different folks that are in it that's why i respect to the dark side and the executive producers it's in depth they tell the story but i can remember as they're this and that and but you know as it it will appear but i can remember there that night
When the impact zone was chanting, we were on six sides, very loud.
And I can remember that I did not hear from Dixie or Eric or Hulk.
Nobody told me, hey, Jeff, this is the direction we're going.
