I mean, because, look, if somebody's going to call me up
and I'm James Gladstone, okay, and say, hey, look, we really have an interest in player X. What do you think?
I'm like, well, look, everybody's got a price tag.
I mean, there's very few in the NFL that don't have a price tag.
You've got to be willing to listen to maybe improve your franchise in a way that was unexpected.
You know, so is it likely that this happened?
I don't know.
Who knows?
But if it did happen, it would not surprise me one bit.
The only thing that I think makes me a little bit skeptical on this is that
Look, I think the Pittsburgh Steelers are in a situation where they don't even know what the quarterback situation is going to be.
And so I just kind of find it maybe a little bit hard to believe that they would be out trying to find out about trading for a wide receiver that, you know, the price tag would not necessarily be big as far as how much money you would have to pay Brian Thomas Jr.
The price tag may be big when it comes to draft picks, but when you don't know –
what your quarterback situation is going to be.
I mean, are you willing to sacrifice a lot of equity to bring in what is viewed as a top-end wide receiver for maybe a quarterback that you don't know who's going to be?
That's why I kind of think that, again, I'm skeptical.
Well, you know, and maybe they've got a wink-wink, handshake deal with Aaron Rodgers to where they say that they know he's coming back, but he wants all the publicity about maybe is he going to come back.
Nobody knows.
He's going to go to his darkness retreat and figure it out for a couple of months.
