The way that roadmaps are communicated perhaps is the single biggest downfall of product teams and how they're viewed internally in organizations.
What is the thing that senior leaders do today that makes roadmaps harder to use as like a learning tool and a tool for the field to actually benefit from?
Yeah.
So there's, I've done a lot of research out there.
People can look there.
This was a topic when I was at serious decisions, we did a lot of research and I did a bunch of presentations.
So I think there's a couple of recordings online, um, where I give like some, some tips.
I think the most important thing that people don't do that is the downfall with roadmaps is think about their audience.
One of the most common things I see is that people take a roadmap that is designed for engineering and use that for other audiences.
What engineers and developers want to see is a detailed timeline, because they're thinking, what resources do we need?
