A couple days ago, I went out and I had several drinks.

So I think this may be the signal for Jokic to start doing that.
Well, if you want to break down here, I can tell you that the Nuggets, at the start of the season, did not anticipate this two-way situation with Spencer to be deviating.
This wasn't in the cards, and obviously a lot of it changed due to the injuries and all that stuff.
So what the Nuggets should have done is approach him with a deal a couple months ago and try to get that converted back then.
But due to a very specific need to get under the tax, the nuggets were motivated in a different direction.
So everything came below doing that.
Now, I have my feelings about the situation next year as how it pertains to the tax.
But I will say just as far as this year, their biggest motivation, they were not intending to be in the tax at all coming into the season.
