When a player like that comes out there, you're like, is he having fun?

Is he enjoying himself?

I do think that Pickett's problem – well, I think that's more of actually a Strother thing because Julian has kind of come into where Jalen was.

Julian – a lot of J names.

But I just – I think that's more – I mean, the problem with Julian is he needs a very specific set of circumstances to excel.

And this Nuggets team needs more people who work in concert with Jokic very specifically.

And having a small guy who is slow is just not going to be conducive to good offense.

And I think that was the appropriate decision that David Adelman made because –

Look, Julian's going to fire away and serve that purpose that you need in a Jokic offense.

Jalen Pickett's going to try to back someone down and chuck a three at the end of a clock or such situation.

He wasn't providing anything.

So have Julian in there.

You point this up because I've been thinking about this a lot.

Nikola Jokic got a lot more criticism and all that at the All-Star break than he has faced in years.

And it was all because of effort, energy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Stuff that, you know, like who cares about an exhibition game?

I know that's exactly the way Jokic feels, but I do think that that got to him because he does that interview with Malika where he's insisting he cares.

And you don't do that unless you want to put out there that you want people to know that you care.

I think that is the beginning of the change in mentality from Nikola.

I do think that he kind of really sucked in the Clippers game, but I do think games out of the All-Star break are really generally really kind of weird.
