So Stevie's coming up.
But a couple things to report on.
Friedman reporting that now Jay Woodcroft has not been asked for permission.
They haven't granted permission.
They're not even interviewing him, I guess.
So maybe the Leafs aren't looking at Woodcroft.
Emily Kaplan of ESPN saying that David Carl down at the University of Denver is entertaining the idea of maybe being the coach of the Maple Leafs.
Take that for what it's worth.
And I believe it was Dregs on the morning show today saying that they're going to let Morgan Riley play out the worlds, and then when he comes home, it sounds like Chayka and or Sundin are going to have a sit-down with him and basically intimate it's time to start talking trade, which is complicated, though, because he's got a no-movement clause.
It takes two to tango there.
If Riley doesn't want to waive, I don't know what they're going to do with that situation.
Yeah, and I think it's a two-way street.
I've used the Oliver Ekman-Larsen example as another one that I think he could be prone to, where he got down to Florida, revitalized his whole career, got him a new contract in Toronto.
They're different style of players, but the point being is,
High picks, really good offensive players in the past.
They got flushed out of a couple places because it just didn't work, but they still had something there once they got to a fresh scene.
And I think that can happen with Riley.
This is the thing, though.
It's snowballed to the point now where if there is some contention or if he doesn't wave, then there's trouble.
And I think he would know that.
