I would much rather see the matchup in the ALCS between two of those teams to get your way into a World Series than otherwise.
But, you know, I think situations like this, ultimately, they don't come up all that often.
I got to do a study on this and see just how often some of the best teams in the league are put in this position because...

Yeah, but Junior Caminero's not as good a hitter as Aaron Judge.
No, he can't be that.

Aaron Judge is a generationally good hitter.
Aaron Judge's numbers, when you stack them up against his contemporaries, he dwarfs them.
And against great legends of New York Yankees history, those are the kind, like, Judge is putting up
like Mickey Mantle-type numbers.
I think if you go and look at them between the on-base percentage and otherwise, right now Junior Caminero is not the best hitter in the American League.
He's 60 points behind Jordan Alvarez in on-base percentage, 60 points behind him in slugging percentage.
And this is not my way of...
blagging Junior Caminero by any means because I think he's incredible and I think that there's a reasonable case to be made for him to be the American League MVP this year.
And yes, I suppose he is young enough to mature into... He's doing... At this age, what he's doing... I think Aaron Judge was still in the minor leagues.
So...
Maybe I should put a ceiling on Junior Caminero.
