I remember everyone going into that West Coast trip they made, and nobody ever thought without Crosby and mostly without Malkin, they'd be able to do what they did.

That's what encourages me to think they can overcome adversity.

A season is filled with all sorts of adversity, no matter what team you are.

And they've had a lot of it.

But they've shown me that they can bounce back from it.
