He started out in Texas.

He did really, really well.

He went to Colorado and Pueblo.

He basically helped build the town of Pueblo.

He established a ranch there.

And he was incredibly successful.

And then the panic of 1873 wiped him out and completely wiped him out.

And the bison, this was part of the southern herd, they had been living in this part of the world for a long time.

They were really the only natural resource.
