That's a terrible prompt.
That terrible prompt?
What's wrong with it?
No, I think as an MSNBC host, find me five popular people to be against the Trump plan to take over.
Turning out the largest percentage of the 24 Republican coalition.
Simply executing on the mechanics?
Well, the real challenge is because of the presidential, you have the ability to get to velocity and scale with communication.
In an off-year election, when people aren't paying attention to the races the same way they do in a presidential race, it's very hard.
This fractured media, we're in the middle of primaries in three states right now, which we're 60-some days out, and Texas and North Carolina and Illinois, which are in March.
This fragmented media is silly.
I mean, we have streaming, which it was overtaken linear and cable.
And so the fragmentation plus social platforms and the new podcast world, which there's 100 million people now, 100 million Americans now on X, it's no longer just some sort of
you know outskirts of of Maine Society and you have 240 million people have listened to a podcast but that's even so fragmented and so disjointed and so you have to be careful what you're going to go on because you don't know what they're going to talk about later in life
yeah and so that fragmentation gets really hard to get to people that are that are occasional consumers of political information and so that's the challenge yeah and money helps yeah and money helps and we've got a bucket full of it and typically if you're only outspent two to one as a republican
you think you have a fighting chance.
I think there's a chance total money spent with the MAGA Inc.
Super PAC and the money that they're raising, I think there's a chance if that's deployed, that we're heads up on money and that gives us a fighter's chance.
Pretty low.
I don't think he fits the brand that they're looking for.
And I might allude to this a little bit from even from Mayor Fry and all the way through the populist strain.
