Compound interest, you're exactly right.
And the the the issue here is that millennials and Gen Z, two generations now, have never had the opportunity to do what you're talking.
It's not a case of they're not working hard enough.
That's not it at all.
And so I brought some more charts because I've got charts for everything.
The boomers complained about Generation X.
It it's it's it's old as human nature, right?
You know, the the kids are always bad, right?
But this is a macroeconomic thing and it goes back to 2008.
If you look at the chart here, which shows you income, income fell off trend in 2008 and never went back, to the point that we're now five trillion behind that trend.
That's five trillion dollars in real uh price adjusted income that never happened.
That's income, you know, baby boomers got their got their uh their jobs, their incomes, their retirement savings, their houses, they got a they got all
that stuff.
After 2008 things were different.
People your generation
They are in the bottom part of the K because there isn't jobs and income.
So you don't have the chance.
You don't have a chance to build your career in the same way.
You don't have a chance to buy a house at age twenty-eight, twenty-nine or thirty and build your equity because everything comes with equity.
