I use this a lot when these kind of edgier moments where you're not really sure how to gauge what the reaction is going to be.
So instead of using really concrete, specific words, I use words that are a little bit more...
Hmm, ubiquitous words that have a little bit more give to them.
For example, you can go with distances and weather.
Those are my two favorite.
So what does that mean?
Instead of saying, what's wrong with you?
What's wrong with you?
You're acting like something's wrong.
I could say, you feel really far from me right now.
I'm feeling a distance between this.
I'm feeling like there's,
There's a mile between us and I need to find a way for us to be on the same page.
You see, I didn't say anything about any specificity or about it.
Or like in, you know, if somebody's asking you, how are you feeling?
