And he just texted me the other day that his dad passed.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Yeah, our condolences as a show here.
And asked me, it was part of a mailbag question.
He mentioned some of his favorite sports memories with his dad, Bob.
Some of them were Three Rivers Stadium related and asked me what some of mine were with my dad, who passed in September.
And I had Three Rivers Stadium sports memories as well.
He took me here from Buffalo in 1979, right after the Bill Madlock trade, to see Madlock play his old team, which was the Giants.
I think the count, John Montefusco, was on the mound, and Dave Parker hit a line-shot rocket that never changed trajectory until it smashed off the seats in right field.
And he was the missing piece.
