I've been attacked by Trump.

Now he's just the latest Black media member to be attacked by Trump.

I think what will be the interesting question for Stephen A. Smith, or the interesting question that people have about

how Stephen A. Smith will respond to these comments.

As we have seen that when it comes to black athletes and even some black people in general, Stephen A. has gone pretty hard.

And you can debate whether or not they deserve that level of energy, but he's had a lot of energy for a lot of athletes, be it Jalen Brown most recently, be it Kyrie Irving at one time, and he comes after them pretty hard.

So I'm really curious

Is he going to have that same energy for Donald Trump, somebody who he has tried to convince people at varying points who isn't that bad or should be given a chance or seemed as if he was encouraging Black voters especially to sort of give Trump a try and that sort of thing.

But now that Trump has essentially called him stupid, I am curious as to how Stephen A. responds and will he respond in the same way and manner and fashion that he has to Black people.

Yeah, and even on a political matter, people have sort of accused him of, and I think in some cases it's fair, in some cases a little unfair, but I think in a lot of cases it's been fair, of hammering Democrats when the Republicans are the ones in power.

And they control all the levers of government, and he seems to be harping on one side versus harping on the other side.

So again, I think people are going to be judging and checking his reaction.

Is he going to go on

Some long-spirited diatribe?

Is he going to be threatening to do... What is the energy that we're about to get from Stephen A about what Donald Trump has said about him?

But overall, down to your earlier point, it was a mistake for Trump to go.

This was... It was a complete lack of self-awareness.

It was selfish.

But we shouldn't be surprised in the sense that that is the essence of Donald Trump.

He's not self-aware.
