I am curious as to how this team responds, being that in many ways they've lived a charmed existence through most of this playoff run because they pummeled most of their opponents.
I mean, the fact that this is their first loss in like over a month is crazy.
And so like you don't really see those kind of runs in the NBA playoffs or rarely do you see them.
And now they're getting kind of hit with their first real bit of adversity in the playoffs.
Oh, no, it will, because now, you know, I think the environment will feel different.
It won't be such a spectacle around there.
The media coverage will be less about the politics of it all and more about the sports of it all.
I mean, just think about just the distraction for the players.
Sometimes, like, distractions are overblown.
All the players are being asked what they think about the president being there, and that's kind of forcing them into a tough political space.
and asked about how this is inconveniencing fans and all those other things questions they would prefer not to probably answer before heading into a really important game and now that part of it kind of goes away and so it's just kind of back to the business at hand and hopefully the normalcy of that will get New York back into the mindset that they had heading into game three being up uh 2-0 what did you think of the guy singing the national anthem Avery Wilson
You know, at least I saw he made an Instagram post that basically letting people know he was fine.
That he didn't feel like what happened took away from his moment.
And I know that a lot of people probably reached out to him on social media to let him know, hey, it wasn't about you.
It was about Trump.
Because they did...
cheer for him.
Like after he was done, it was just as soon as they showed Trump, you know, so the New Yorkers understood the assignment.
Boo Trump.
When this guy is singing, we'll be fine.
