And that's because there's money there.
So my concern with the stadium site has always been, is there money there to keep up the construction of the ballpark?
And from what I can tell, and I drove past it the other night, is that you could see the beams being built high above the fence at the end.
have there so it does seem like it is underway it is well underway um i'm kind of just wanting to see what the process is like how far along in the process they are um and also just like considering state of the world like if there's going to be any building materials being imported that's like impacted and just also saying making sure that they're actually on budget
So it's a very weird vibe.
Obviously, a lot of fans in Oakland are upset.
A lot of them have stopped following the team.
A lot of them have just chosen to give up baseball entirely.
And I don't blame them for that because it was such a contentious battle of the way that they left.
And the way that they left...
Oakland left a really bad taste in people's mouths in the Bay Area.
A lot of A's fans don't want to jump ship and go to the Giants.
That's just never going to happen.
So a lot of them are now without a team.
But then there are some who did choose to follow the A's out.
So it is very split.
There's a lot of mixed feelings around it.
As far as what's going on in Las Vegas is that
For the longest time, a lot of Las Vegans have accepted that there were gonna be no big league sports teams coming to Vegas.
And the commonly understood reason was because there's gambling here.
