Five years.

That's how long today's guest carried around the thought of I like to do private practice before she did anything about it.

Before we get to today's guest, I want to talk about the word that cost her those five years.

And it's a word that you've probably used this week.

Here's the problem with that word: ready insinuate.

Insinuates that you've already eliminated every possible risk, that you have the perfect office, the perfect website, the clear five-year plan, and zero chance of it going sideways.

And since that doesn't exist, you stay where you are.
