And this was, I think, like 2010 ish.

I got laid off from my job.

I got laid off from, I was working for a company called Accenture.

Laid off.

I was thrilled because I was miserable there.

I was there for two years.

And so when I got the call, I was like, yes.

And I'd already always had an entrepreneurial spirit.

So I knew I wanted to do something and like own my own business was like, yes, that's what we're going to do.

So I remember I joined this coaches, coaches program.

And I think she was a money coach at the time.

And yeah,

She knew that I just lost my job and she's like, OK, we need to create a business for you.

So I became an event planner and Jennifer Dent Events was born because in my corporate job, I was in professional development, leadership training.

So I used to manage and plan like large scale training programs, multi-day programs.

I was very good at everything.

doing those type of events and networking events.

So I started this business, Jennifer Dan Events.

I had no idea what I was doing.

I had no business plan.
