Hi guys, welcome back to Killer Thriller Docu Edition.

So, what if two people tell you completely different stories about a murder and both stories sound believable?

That's the mystery at the heart of murder in Glitterball City, which is HBO's documentary from filmmakers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbado.

In 2010, the body of James Carroll, a talented hairdresser and drag performer, was discovered buried in the basement of a Victorian home in Louisville, Kentucky.

And inside that home were two former lovers, Joey Bayness and Jeffrey Munt.

And when police began asking questions, each man had a very different story about what happened to Jamie, with each ultimately accusing the other of murder.

And then there was this video.

It was a strange recording made by Joey Bayness will become one of the most compelling and puzzling pieces of evidence in the entire case.

And today we are going inside murder in Glitterball City with Fanton Bailey and Rendy Barbado to talk about this extraordinary case and the people behind the headlines and why sometimes the most difficult mysteries aren't about what happened, but who you believe.
