It's a piece, I think, originally in the New York Times.
And there was research done in America about people, essentially, the choice has gone from the jobs market.
So just after COVID, there was this whole thing where employees really had it their own way.
And it was lovely.
You could bring your dog to work on a Friday afternoon, apparently, in some companies.
We never had that.
But there was basically people, companies were doing whatever they could to keep employees busy.
In the mix.
But that's over now, basically.
You have no choices anymore as an employee.

And they're saying basically that because people now have fewer choices, partly because, and I think this is very much reflected in the Irish context, partly because of a lot of people having moved because they had remote work during the pandemic.
So they moved somewhere cheaper, more rural, more remote, maybe back to their families or whatever you have that.
Similar pattern in America where people move to big cities for their jobs as you have here.
And now they're stuck there because they won't get an equivalent job in the area.
They have to keep the remote job that they have because other companies are no longer offering remote work to new employees.
And I have family members in that exact same situation, myself and neighbours as well.
So that's very, very real.
So they're talking, they're calling it hunkering down.
