I was quite excited about it.
I don't know why.
I think maybe because I have so little going on
this week.
So no, I had actually coincidentally booked this beautiful yoga class in Tremor, which, as you know, because I've mentioned it.

and I had booked an kind of indoor outdoor type yoga class in this beautiful glass walled studio overlooking the beach at 8pm so it was perfect so I got myself away from my desk at about 6.15 and I was on the beach by quarter to 7 and so I sat and it was really nice it was like this kind of impromptu watch party and there were lots of like really well organised people who had their chairs and they had their proper eclipse glasses I'd say there was some Prosecco in some flasks and things like that
People were kind of, they were overdoing it a little bit.
They had the colanders and they were turning their backs.
They were kind of a bit, they were like the Eclipse virtue signalers.
You know, they were like, they had their back turned and they were being very careful.
I, of course, was risking retinal damage sitting there with my normal sunglasses on, gazing
retinas and it's no fun having damage done to your retinas.
But in case my optician and ophthalmologist are listening, I was very careful.
I looked briefly for seconds.
But, you know, it was lovely.
It was just this kind of really weird moment where it felt like somebody turned down the dimmer switch on the lights.
