So that her her mum could be identified.
Um and she said his manner was gentle as he helped me with the infernal infant car seat.
And his eyes were kind, but she noticed, even in her distressed state, that his face was bruised and um and cut.
And so she asked him what had happened to him, and he told her that he had been walking home late from a shift in Queens, and a group of men encircled him him and called him a dirty terrorist and beat him up.
Oh and this was in the aftermath.
And then she also goes on to talk about the South Asian nine eleven widows who she visited in the aftermath, whose legal immigration status in the in the United States vanished as soon as their husbands did.
Um so they were not able to travel, they weren't a their families couldn't come to America to go and visit.
Able to visit.
But I wanted to share with you some of what she wrote about her her mum because when I was reading it, I was like, oh Roshman would love this woman.
She just found to have been the most incredible woman.
She wants to tell me.
She was only 52, right?
Yeah, no, she wasn't.
She was uh she was 68.
So she went back to work when she was fifty-two after a a divorce.
So she talks about how she had she took part in this documentary that the 9-11 Museum wanted to do.
And she was really the interview just felt wrong, and so she ran.
And she went back and redid the interview because they were asking her things like, um, what is your favorite meal that your mom taught you to cook?
And she's like, My mom hated to cook.
