John Ossoff is in good shape right now.
But it mattered what happened 50 years ago and that decisions that were made in Atlanta that are different than decisions that were made in Birmingham, different than decisions that were made in Raleigh, North Carolina.
So that reverberate today.
And so you just get a sense of, and then of course, moving with intention now and trying to do things differently in Georgia, like it matters.
And that's sort of the inspiring part is if people come together and try to make change and they're smart and consistent about it, you can do it.

I was a little skeptical of Tallarico coming into the state, and I left with a different view.
I think faith is a
Faith is a very big deal that Democrats discount too much in the South.
You know, I think there are big structural reasons of why Democrats and Black voters are disenfranchised in the South.
And, you know, that was sort of the impetus for this series to understand all of that.
But also there's a big cultural disconnect.
What was amazing about, and I did feel this in Georgia and also in North Carolina, it's like
I'm not saying Tallarico is necessarily going to win, but it feels more fluid, I think, as we're sort of the tail end of Trump's popularity.
And since he was not an ideological conservative, voters are it's more of a jump ball for them.
