Well, my top tip is something that I have to work on as well.
Um, but I think people sometimes uh underestimate how much value there is in community knowledge sharing and having a conversation uh with your neighbor.
Um and that can save a perfectly good item from landfill or uh can help someone learn a new skill that lasts well into the future.
And just having those conversations and even if it's a little bit uncomfortable to socialize.
for some I know that's uh something that I have to overcome, uh but having those conversations um quite often let you learn something new that you might not have otherwise had the ability to.

Uh well that's actually um a project that I'm currently working on.
We just did some E DNA testing recently and just got our data back uh as part of our Sycamore removal project.
And so I can tell you there were uh hints of people in the water uh on the day that we tested.
So you know that people, amongst many other things that we saw, uh do make use of that space.
Um it's as far as uh
Uh if it gets used, you know, you people go down there to go swimming and hang out next to it and that sort of thing.
But uh as a water source, um you can see that there is definitely uh sort of an urbanization uh boundary where it goes from the quality of water as it progressively gets closer to town, the quality of water uh changes uh a bit.
A bit.
So that
It's something to definitely be mindful of.
People often don't think of, you know, when you live up on the hills and that sort of thing, that you still affect the water down below through what you do in your own backyard and how that can make its way down to the stream through storm water and just through roadway roadways that make it.
