So in February of 2020, the lawyers came to our location.
We showed them all around.
And that was when people in New York started to get sick.
So the lawyers left.
And then a couple of weeks later, all of New York City shut down and obviously a part of the world shut down because of COVID.
So we really tried to start franchising at the most inopportune time ever.
So during COVID, we pivoted, we used PPP loans to really do research and development and just we used that time to fine tune what our systems were and figure out if there are other things that we can do to make it even better to franchise a system.
So then we really did start franchising until twenty twenty two.
That's right.
That's exactly right.
During the pandemic and during COVID, we spent even more time looking at our numbers.
And we had always set up the business as multiple children LLCs that rolled up into one parent LLC.
So we always had a mobile version of the business that was kind of running as its own PL.
And then the other brick and mortars were running as separate PLs.
So we took that time during COVID to really dig down deep into our numbers.
And we realized that the mobile version
of the business was just so much more profitable.
So when we came back out and put our heads up after COVID was over in 2022, we said, you know what, the thing that makes the most sense to franchise, because it is the most profitable, is that mobile business.
So and we'd been doing the mobile business the entire time, but that was the business unit that made the most sense to to franchise.
