If anything keeps me up at night, it's probably that idea.
What are we doing this for?
I think it's a fair question.
And I ask other founders that.
As a founder of a company that receives a lot of public attention like Skims, I have the opportunity to meet other founders that have created unbelievable businesses that also are in the public eye.
We talk about it.
What are we doing it for?
Because money, in my view, is the result of doing something great.
Money by itself is a poor purpose.
It shouldn't be the reason we get up in the morning.
It should be the result of us doing something we love and doing a great job and exciting our customers.
And that should be rewarded.
But that's me as a founder.
If you're an investor, the money is the purpose in many ways.
Not for everybody.
It's not the whole cake.
