When AlexNet came along, the algorithm was deep learning.
And so the question is, what is this algorithm?
And why does it matter?
Why was it so effective?
And what else can it do?
And
And if you were to scale algorithms and scale it beyond that, what could it solve that otherwise you can't solve today?
And the breakthrough for us was realizing that AlexNet was not AlexNet, that AlexNet was an approach with deep learning that allows you to learn any function.
